I grew up between the ocean and the mountains in Vancouver, Canada.

Ever since I was little, I loved making things out of everything (fabric, clay, paint, beads, paper, nature, recycling, you name it!). At the age of eight, I made my first picture book out of cardboard and construction paper. At the age of eighteen, I made my prom dress out of purple tulle. I continued to make things in university where I studied English Literature and Theatre Design.

Now an elementary school teacher and mama of two young children (and two cats), I believe early education plays an important role in celebrating diversity. With this in mind, I made Meet Frank out of paper, watercolours and dreams.

Meet Frank, an illustrated journey of discovery and a celebration of diversity, is now available for purchase. I can’t wait for you to meet him.
