Growing up in Vancouver, Canada, as the daughter of Chinese immigrants, I was surrounded by diversity. In spite of this, I encountered racism and didn't always feel like I belonged. I created Meet Frank to help children, families, and teachers explore skin tone and find themselves in the kaleidoscope of color. My wish is for children of all shades be represented in powerful ways, because they do in fact, belong.
